Blog: Why Attend Offshore Europe?
/In just under three weeks’ time, one of the world’s largest technical conference and exhibitions for the offshore E&P industry will come to Aberdeen, the oil & gas capital of Europe.
With over 1,500 exhibitors, 63,000 professionals from 100+ countries, 100's of technical papers, 1000’s of technical demos and presentations and 10 free to attend keynote sessions from industry leaders, the 3 day event will be a fantastic opportunity for both established and breakthrough companies to come together in the same location and raise business profiles, clients and customers to discuss current and future projects, and for new players to hear from senior decision makers on the current issues as well the critical future trends of the industry.
For many OEM’s in the industry, 2015 has been a year of severe cuts, loss of confidence and limited activity due to the fall in oil price, with two-thirds of North Sea oil and gas operators being forced to cancel projects. However, smaller service companies like Annandale Design who have excellent agility and customer service, have been able to respond to changing industry requirements, meaning the oil price has been a welcome opportunity and opened a number of doors, which had previously been firmly shut.
Annandale Design is one of the leading fabrication and specialist metalworkers in the UK, with experience spanning across many sectors including the oil and gas industry. We pride ourselves on working in partnership with our customers, providing excellent service and manufacturing high quality specialised products.
Offshore Europe provides a valuable and vital opportunity to help a company, such as Annandale Design, who although established in their own right, is a new player in the oil and gas industry, grow and develop. The vital face-to-face communication and networking helps to raise the business’ profile and helps get the company in front of potential and prosperous future customers.
We are currently working on two exciting projects at Prime Four Business Park in Kingswells, including a complete metalwork package at Anderson Anderson Brown’s new office compex and the fit out of an expert metalwork package for the Statoil facility. Yet, as well as presenting your own products and services, you can use this vital time to learn more about your customers and their needs, as well as the industry’s needs at the same time as receiving invaluable feedback on your current offering.
Offshore Europe will be Annandale Design’s first experience at an oil and gas conference and exhibition, a big step we know, however we are looking forward to forging new relationships, strengthening existing reliances, and building our business profile in this exciting and opportunistic industry.
