Refurbishment on Craig Tara Pool

Annandale Design has recently completed the design, detail, manufacturing and installation of a complete comprehensive metalwork package for the refurbishment of the Craig Tara Holiday Park leisure pool in Ayr, in time for Easter.

Annandale Design had worked on the leisure pool, 31 years earlier in 1984, thus it was both an interesting and reminiscent project for the team. 

The project was challenging due to the tight time period it had to be completed in, as well as the strict specifications to be kept to due to the corrosive environment of the pool area. Works included a new high level flume walkway and balustrade which was to be accessed via a feature helical stair, refurbishment of existing balustrades, numerous secondary steel alterations, bridges over river rapids and compromising toughened laminated glass panels & polyester powder coated stainless steel mesh infill panels.
